Can no one in the NGO's or Govt for that matter come up with a plan to wean us off for profit airlines it boggles the mind that a territory that needs vast sums of money from the Federal Govt just to carry out day to day tasks and has less population then a sold out NFL game is forced to pay airline prices so they make a profit. I've been here a long time now I've seen airlines grow from small regional carriers to large regional carriers and it's always the same old song "look how much we've done for you" For my money no community in Canada that has no other way to connect with the rest of the country should be held hostage by airline prices. In closing I just want to ask the age old question "Where are the flying cars ? "

Reviewed liquor act

It's about time the govt of nunavut quit this insane idea that some how they can controll that which is uncontrollable namely the flow of alcohol down peoples throats everybody and their mother shakes a finger and wags a tongue when people get caught bootlegging but it's been going on since the day I got here way back in "73" and the liquor store was opened then. Thanks to Peter B. for the knocks on Ann Coulter she deserves everything she gets but funny I always listen to what she has to say I don't agree with 90 % of it but if people want to listen to her then by all means go ahead and last for today Everybody should read that new Micheal Lewis book "The Big Short" it opens a few eyes and for the people who think it's a level playing field kicks them in the groin.

Thursday

Ok it's the most shitty day of the week but I move forward into the light even if the clouds and snow say no light for you. I wonder how many people get up every day here and just wish for the whole place to disappear. I think today I'll start thinking about a whole new thing like yesterday I was on goggle earth and I looked at some of my old haunts things have changed man but not so much that I could not recognize the places I went to but I think I'm just looking for lost youth or maybe just home sick anyway nothing a stiff drink won't cure.
